15 Public support, Williams said, will be a key factor in motivating the players. “We are home and we need to feel like we’re home so we need the public’s support. I am asking the Antiguan public to come out in their numbers and to chant the Antigua & Barbuda Benna Boys on Wednesday night, Friday night and Sunday night. It is very important for us to go through to the next round so I am asking for their support,” the coach said. Media Officer with the ABFA, Troy Gibson, assured that preparations for the opening day’s play are on course. “The ground is basically ready; we are doing the final touches. The officials are also on ground and will be doing their inspection today (Monday) and teams will be expected tomorrow. Transportation is set, hotels are set and we are just ready to go on Wednesday,” he said. “The tickets will only be sold at the grounds and the gates will be open at 4p.m. on game days so from Wednesday we will have all the tickets ready for all the matches so if on Wednesday you need a ticket for an advanced match you can ask it,” Gibson added. Adults will pay an entrance fee of $15 while children under 12 will pay $5.
