the management of events
and programs. This resource
will be employed by GMA,
but will work closely with the
GMAQ State Executive, to
drive GMAQ activities, and
reduce volunteer executive
workloads.
The two-year service agreement
that GMAQ is proposing to enter
in to, is a binding document
that will hold GMA accountable
for the delivery of member
benefits. The agreement
outlines aspects including;
• Responsibilities of both
organisations, including GMA
reporting obligations to the
GMAQ State Executive.
• Financial and servicing
commitments GMA will make
to GMAQ members.
• Protection of GMAQ assets.
• Dispute resolution process
clauses.
• Termination process.
The concept of the service
agreement is to ensure the
proposed model services GMAQ
members to an agreed level.
Clearly, should after the two-
year period the GMAQ State
Executive believe the ‘One
GMA’ model is not meeting
the needs of our members,
there are specific clauses
within the services agreement
outlining the return to our
current federated model.
Additionally, if the model was to
be terminated, GMAQ’s current
sponsors have confirmed that
current sponsorship levels will
be maintained. Patterson from Avondale GC.
