elcome to our next
E-Magazine edition. We trust
your golfing year has started
well and business is flourishing for
every club. This edition is jam-packed
of valuable industry information and we
hope you will enjoy the read!
Special thanks go to Mike Orloff
and his team (especially Mathilda) for
the publishing of this magazine.
I appreciate their patience when
our deadlines keep getting stretched
due to our own club business
taking precedence.
In this edition we have the results of
the recent QGI (Qld Golf Industry)
Awards night held at Jupiter’s Casino
on the Gold Coast. Congratulations
to all the winners across not only the
GMAQ awards, but all categories. It
was a wonderful night and all thanks
go to the organisers for another
successful event that just keeps getting
bigger and better. On the local front,
the GMAQ schedule is enclosed and
we are encourage all GMAQ members
to mark these dates in your diaries.
The normal golf results of the past few
months are also enclosed, in particular
the GMAQ Match play (which saw the
final having a spectacular finish to the
match), as well as the Dudley Von Nida
and 2016 Executive Day including the
E.C. Coker Trophy.
None of these events would happen
without the contribution from sponsors,
and we have a strong connection with
all corners of our industry suppliers.

respective golf clubs - they have quality
products, which go hand in hand with
our businesses. We are always looking
