QUALITY CONTROL ISSUE WITH TOPMAN SHIRT

Quality Conrol Issue: Where the fabric was supposed to look 'distressed', it was ripping and thinning. Top button is also missing.

What could happen in Bulk Production?

The distress could become too intense which could lead to it being faulty once being worn a few times. The top button could be loose or missing from some garments.

Solutions: Enusre where the garment is 'distressed', the fabric has double layers.

Only distress where won't be fitter on the body. For example, the back, forearms and around the hem. Ensure that the top button is secured well. This could be done by could be stiching it twice and ensuring every item has a spare button.

HOW EFFECTIVE WOULD THESE SOLUTIONS BE?

These solutions will be effective and solve the issues of the stated garment.It is crucial to ennsure that every garment has a spare button. Buttons are bound to fall off, however, if there is not a spare button, the garment will potentially be returned as faulty. It is also worth ensuring the button is secured on well.

Where the garment is distressed, it is very important to enusre that they are in an ideal spot on the garment. This will ensure that the distress look does not become a rip in the garment as this is not how the customer purchased the item.
