Revolution, but acknowledging that there will be challenges along the way. That
being said, we argue that the United States will always play a major role in Egyptian
intelligence as long as the countries share mutual interests. The long and enduring
history of the intelligence relationship between the two shows that there can continue
to be mutual interests and benefits, allowing them to return to a “business as usual”
intelligence sharing manner.
