Let's be honest to the future generations of the world, I think I speak for everyone when I say the word, sorry.

Sorry that we were screaming loud, but it was like our voices were unheard.

Sorry that we left the world so troubled for you.

Sorry, that even though we tried and tried for change, it never seemed to come.

Sorry because we were so lost in our upkeep of technology that we forgot the important things.

Sorry, that because we were so preoccupied in liking or retweeting whatever was on our screens, that we sort of forgot that we had to change things in real life.

Sorry for the fact that so many of your liberties are cut off.

You guys probably can't choose your own religion anymore, right?

Probably can't choose how you want to look. And even though America preaches about freedom of choice, you probably still get judged on your outer appearance and how you choose to hold yourself

Let's be honest that's our bad, sorry.

Our insecurities were probably passed right down to you and even though you saw things in a different way, we still looked at you and called you "young"

Not knowing that a pair of fresh eyes are better than old ones.

Forgive us for we knew not what we were doing.

Forgive us because we will send you to school, and you will spend time memorizing and regurgitating the curriculum, not realizing that history can be forgotten, rewritten, and erased Not realizing that some of the lessons you learn in life, cannot be taught by some teacher in a standardized building, they have to be learned by yourself.

And you can blame us if you have to undertake a planet that can't even really called a home for intelligent life anymore.

Because that's what we were, right? Intelligent?

Sorry because every time you asked to go out we got fear wrapping her cold hands around our hearts not knowing whether you were coming back to us or not.

Sorry that all the things your childlike nature probably told you to do, our jaded eyes knew the truth and saw the evils hidden behind what you thought was "fun"

Let's be honest because we want change. We want different things because seeing and viewing

the same old things can get mundane. But even with all of our faults,

we were honest to ourselves, When things started to change, we stomped our feet down.

Frightened of change, but at the same time relieved.

Everything Was Done For You.

And we were led by the examples of Martin Luther King Jr. who said, "Darkness cannot

drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can

do that." Malcolm X who said, " You can't separate peace from freedom because no

one can be at peace unless he has his freedom"
