Japan had started to prepare for the war by faking a Chinese attack so that this dignified as a reason to start attacking china and gaining a fake state. Then in 1940, they signed a Tri-pact with Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy. Doing this promised allegiance if any of the three countries were attacked. Following 4 years of war, first atomic bomb named “little boy” wiped out one of Japan's largest cities. Even after the first bomb, Japan kept fighting. So, the United States decided that a 2nd atomic bomb was what it was going to take to end this war. The biggest threat finally was defeated by the Allie forces after 3 years of fighting. Allied forces the Japanese had finally admitted defeat. Their emperor Hirohito announced Japan's official surrender in 1945. Life in japan had suffered incredibly, with large civilian loses.
