Julie Schneider
JULIE SCHNEIDER is Vice President of the Global
Atlantic Insurance Network (GAIN) distribution
channel for Global Atlantic’s Traditional Life
business. She brings more than 25 years of life
insurance experience to the role. Julie is responsible
for providing strategic direction, development and
build-out of the Global Atlantic Insurance Network
(GAIN) channel with a focus on business development,
managing key relationships with distribution partners
and ensuring execution of the Traditional Life sales
strategy.
Julie joined Global Atlantic in September 2017. Prior
to Global Atlantic, she was Senior Vice President,
Firm Selection, at NFP-PartnersFinancial, responsible
for sourcing, engaging and onboarding new firms for
NFP’s high-end, life insurance-focused membership
organization. Prior to NFP, Julie worked at Highland
Capital Brokerage as Senior Vice President, High Cap
Financial and Independent Distribution, responsible for
their high-end producer group and market development
within their independent distribution channel.
Earlier at Highland, she had responsibility
for institutional distribution where she led
the organization’s efforts with major financial
institutions such as UBS, Wells Fargo, Deutsche Bank
and many others. Julie also held a variety of positions
at Jefferson Pilot. She started her financial services
career in sales, having worked at both a general agency
with Northwestern Mutual Life and a brokerage office
with LPL.
Julie holds a bachelor’s in communications and
psychology from the University of Wisconsin, as well
as a FINRA Series 7 registration. She is also a regular
contributor to multiple industry forums.
Outside of the office, Julie is a Board member of the
Association for Advanced Life Underwriters (AALU),
appointed in 2016. She has dedicated her time to the
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, AALU Brokerage
General Agency Task Force and was Chair of the
Women’s Engagement Forum. She is also involved in
planning the annual Texas Conference for Women, a
major event held each year to inspire women to excel in
both professional and personal aspects of their lives.
