I travel a lot.
In fact that’s an understatement.
In the last five years, for work, I’ve
travelled to 11 new countries making the tally somewhere near 40
countries total. I’ve spent almost 2
of those 5 years away from home
travelling over half a million kilometers by air, enough to circle the
globe 13 times, clocking up one
full month flying in over 200 different aircrafts.
I laugh when friends tell me that
world travel is so easy. These are

people who book package holidays, sleep in their own bed each
night and are constantly surrounded by friends and familiarity. It’s
different when you’re on your own
in a strange country where you
don’t speak the language. When
you travel you give up a lot and
you learn to appreciate what is actually important. Essentially, you’re
stepping out of your comfort zone,
constantly. If you do it enough, like
I do, you’ll be amazed by how big
your comfort zone becomes.
