I’ve learned that from
loneliness comes a
resilience and a confidence – and the
need to find companionship, be that
fleeting, naked or
otherwise. Living life
the way I do, I have
to make sure I never
fall in love. Don’t get
me wrong. We are all
looking for that special someone, but I
keep my heart and
mind closed to any
long term commitment because I can’t
stop moving, relocate
or settle.
Not right now, not at this stage in my life. However, there will
come a day when long term commitment is all I want. I know
that one day I’m going to meet the girl that I’ll spend the rest of
my life with, whether it’s on a plane over the Mediterranean, a
hotel in New York or a restaurant in Hong Kong. But that day is
not today… probably not tomorrow either.
Instead, I live for the fleeting moment the kind that starts with
a smile followed by a conversation with an interesting stranger
and usually ends up with steamy hot international sex.
