In our garment vlog we analysed two different garments, one was a dress from Topshop and one was a white blouse from Wallis. They were completely different garments. As a group of four, we each discussed the problems and came up with solutions.

Our first garment that we analysed was a blue midi dress from Topshop in a size 10. It has a small cut away triangle shape in the middle of the dress to show the top of your stomach. This garment did not really have any faults, other than there was a lot of tension with the zip, as it was quite hard to pull the zip down. Yet there was nothing actually wrong with the garment other than we would change the zipper, however we thought we would change a couple of other things to make the garment much simpler. To change the garment completely, we said that we would turn the dress into a crop top, and fill the triangle hole with some material, therefore it would be a very simple blue crop top. We also said that if we still wanted to keep the garment as a dress we could take the two flaps off at the side, but we would still keep the triangle in the middle of the garment, as it adds more detail to it, it would be a very simple yet elegant bodycon midi dress.
