Ken and Penny Perless moved into their beautiful self-designed home in 2001. Bordering country space, it sits on 2.5 acres. Eucalyptus tress line the back perimeter inside a chain link fence. They always knew they wanted an outdoor structure. The question was how would it look. In 2012 the elegant large-beamed structure, pool and surrounding gardens became a reality. The large columns and tiled roof mimic the front of the house. Even without a direct connection, the new structure connects well with the house. Beyond the outdoor structures over 300 lavender plants are set to bloom soon. From the outdoor room the land seems to unfold in layers of different plants in structured and natural environments. It may have taken over 10 years to design this elegant space but it most definitely was well worth the wait!
