SYDENHAMS JOIN OUR NETBALL FAMILY!

new team selection process

Personal Fitness and Injury is going to be monitored much more closely from this season onwards.

Netball can be hard on the body if you are not suitably fit and prepared so with the help of our new fitness coach, Tom Crockford, we will do our best to avoid injury!

As we get more and more organised and look at ways to move forward it has become clear that you all want to be competitive!

With this in mind we are making a plan to select the WILDCATS based on performance and attendance at training as well as match availability.

What this means is that you must attend training on a regular basis to ensure you have a favoured position on the team.

Of course, this will not always be kept to a strict structure as we all have lives outside of netball and cannot commit to everything. But, it does mean that you need to think about your commitment for the coming season.

Umpire development is a very important part of netball...without umpires we would not play the game!

Tess O'Keefe is now heading up everything umpire related and she has a fantastic knowledge of the rules. If you have any questions then please ask as she is the woman in the know!
