GREAT WORK AT THE COUNTY TOURNAMENT
NEW MEMBERSHIP FEES EXPLAINED
Well done everyone for working really hard earlier in the year at the first ever Dorset County Tournament!
It was cold, windy, rainy, sunny...all in one day but we battled on and fought hard against some very experienced teams.
We have come away with plenty of new contacts and lots of ideas on how to improve further.
The idea behind membership fees is to increase participation but also to ensure that members get value for money. Membership means that everything barring Affiliation throughout the season is free!
This first season will no doubt raise questions and plenty of discussion but all members must fall into one of the 3 possible grades:
Gold - £50 per season - aimed at FULL TIME competitive players
Silver - £42 per season - aimed at PART TIME competitive players
Bronze - £20 per season - aimed at TRAINING ONLY players
(There will be some crossover dependent on the individual)
Double check with one of the committee to see which you should choose!
Training has taken a new turn this season to include more specific fitness focus.
It will work on a 3 week rota to include: fitness, skills and match play.
They will not always come in the same order so no bunking off!
With summer well on its way we must keep up the fitness levels!
Training will be back on Wednesday 23rd April 7pm at Wyke Primary School...make sure you get there!
