Les Floralies celebrating 25
years and a new journey
Les Floralies grew out of a vision to focus on creating fashionable bath and body
products that benefit today’s lifestyles. Established by Mrs Colyn Devereux in
1988, Les Floralies is regarded as the pioneers of room fragrance, being the first
to launch premium ranges of wood pot pourri and fragrant candles. They later
evolved to create innovative bath and body ranges.
Colyn and her son Danvers recognized early on that New Zealand offers the
perfect location to create such products by sourcing premium natural ingredients
from the surrounding clean environment. This is reflected in the quality of the
products. Les Floralies focuses on products that benefit both body and soul to
complement day to day activities be they leisure, work or travel.
Les Floralies in turn has been fortunate to have received a number of business awards in
recognition for exporting, marketing and design. Creating innovative products is Les Floralies
forté where by the company continues to evolve with exciting new releases every year.
Celebrating 25 years is no exception with some very special product releases planned.
Les Floralies retail customer base consists of premium department stores, selected pharmacy
and gift shops throughout New Zealand and worldwide. We are certainly proud and grateful for
the relationships created.
Today Les Floralies vision is unchanged from its small beginnings. The company is now owned
and operated by Colyn’s son Danvers who has been involved in the business since the beginning.
Inspired by personal experiences and places around New Zealand, Danvers enjoys the
opportunity of developing new and innovative products which are often inspired by places like
Matakana and Great Barrier Island. Many utilise locally grown natural ingredients from these
places, like Manuka Honey, Macadamia and Olive oil which he believes will assist to benefit
today’s lifestyles.
Looking back it is credit to Colyn, who always had great vision, innovation and inspiration which
Danvers and many others are grateful for. The last 25 years has been an exciting journey and
it is time to launch a new journey and product which we look forward to sharing at the show.
