Ask Danyelle
Q. What types of questions should I ask while dating to know if the guy might be a good potential partner? And how do I decipher what his answers might mean?
A. Very good question! First, let me say I am a big proponent of watch what a man DOES not just what he says! Therefore, you must be willing to take the time to watch a man’s actions.
Do the words he speaks and his actions line up? Or, is there a discrepancy?
For example, just asking a guy that you’re dating marriage based questions doesn’t mean much of anything when it comes to determining if he’s going to be a good marriage partner. Instead, look at how he lives his life.
For example, you may ask him. “Are you good with money?” That’s a great question on the surface to ask and determine if the gentleman may be a potential partner. A better question may be… “ How do you manage your money?” He may say, I invest in stocks and bonds in addition to investments I have through my corporate job. He may say, I’m a real estate investor and have 20 properties.
On the surface, this sounds good and in some ways solid and lucrative.
