Summertime for me is my favorite season of the year next to spring!! I love the beach, backyard BBQ’s, wearing shorts, tube tops and tank tops! Everything about summertime in California I adore!
Summer also makes me think about summertime romances!!! Remember when we were kids and teenagers and the summertime flings!! HA! Loved it. As a grown woman of a particular age, I still love summertime romances!! While now I am married to the love of my life and best friend going on nine beautiful year’s this August!!! I cherish my husband like a summertime love!!! Not a fling, but love!! Remember summertime love when the only thing the two of you could do was spend every waking moment together? Then summertime ended and you had to go home….alas the romance was over. HA!
Well as an adult I treat my marriage with respect but also with the admiration of young love. Where all I desire is loving my husband fully, supporting and respecting him. And, he does the exact same for me in return.
In the summertime, we enjoy going to the drive-in movies and “making out” in his truck!! HA!
