The girls had a stall in the VIP area of the set and featured in the live show. There was a host of celebrities there, Including Connie Fisher, all helping on a variety of stalls raising cash for the Mission Nutrition campaign to help children in Africa and the UK eat and grow better food. All the girls and their Leaders were given the coveted Blue Peter Badge and even Crystal now wears the famous badge. B It’ s getting closer Folks! ell, Crystal really has been a busy bear since our last newsletter. She went to Hong Kong with Guides from Warley, Ice Skating on the South Bank, been ready to go camping complete with a sleeping bag, toured Legoland, joined a Brownie Pack for their birthday party and even been touring in France with Brownies on holiday with parents. Crystal now has her own Blue Peter badge after meeting with Blue Peter presenters and other celebrities at Lakeside and, of course, enjoyed the snow back in February. Keep your pictures coming so we can all keep up with Crystal adventures!! W If you thought there was still oodles of time before the Centenary Celebration start, then think again! It is only NINE MONTHS until we ‘invade’ Disneyland Paris and that will be a brilliant start to a year of fun. The Rainbows will be looking forward to their Princess Party in April, followed by the Guides at Skreens Park in May and then all the fun of the Big Top for the Brownies and their Circus Day in June. That will be quickly followed by the Garden Party for Guiders at Blake Hall in June and a BBQ Disco in the evening for the energetic ones! This will all be topped off by the big Family Fun Day in Orsett in July. Full details of all these events, with booking forms, will be available towards the end of this year so keep your eyes open so
