blurred with the reflection of the sun rays on the crystalline water. My eyes could barely perceive their limbs, it seemed as if their fingers were connected by a thin layer of skin and their legs were conjoined into a
holographic fin that reflected a blinding brightness.
I was drowning, the saline water entered my nose and mouth, filling up my lungs, collapsing them. There was no one bothering to think where I was. I was dying, being pulled into the end of the ocean where my demise seemed near. My eyes were fading away and my heart wasn’t receiving
blood.
I suddenly felt the most bizarre sensation ever. My soul was waking up from the darkest hole and my spirit arose from hell, I was becoming one of them. The middle-sized creatures pulled me even further, baptizing me as Oona, an exotic name for an earthly girl. Fins covered my legs and gills replaced my skin, transforming my soft hair into squashy algae. I was realizing that my journey on Earth was finalized, however, my odyssey in
this new land was just beginning.
Since that day, I left the world that everyone seemed to care too much of and started exploring a new one, no one has ever dared to touch.
