Regent Street is another major shopping street following on from Oxford Street. It is still in the West End of London and is named after George, the Prince of Regent and was built under the direction of an architect named John Nash.

The whole of the street runs from Waterloo Place through to Picadilly Circus and Oxford Street. The street was completed in 1825 and replaced a number of earlier roads that were previously there.

Regent Street is also known for it's many flagship stores including Liberty, Hamleys, Jaeger and the Apple Store.
