A boutique:

A boutique is a specialised type of retail store, it is a small firm that provides a range of specialised goods and services, often at premium prices. It is different from a retail store because of its size and because it is an individual store. Boutiques have limited product variety and focus on unique items where retail stores have a wide variety.

Supermarkets:

Supermarkets are a larger self service shop, selling foods and household goods. They sell a variety of products at a cheap price, it is spilt into different departments. Their location is residential areas. The type of customers are home owners and families, the size of these stores ranges from corners shops to high street.

Internet stores:

Internet stores location is online only and their staff include, delivery staff, stock warehouse and helpline staff. Usually younger customers use online stores, this is because younger people are more competent to use technology and need items without the fuss of going out to buy them. Their customer service include help desks, head office contact details and live chats. Depending on the brand merchandise can vary from; menswear, womenswear, children swear, footwear, lingerie and accessories - handbags, jewellery. The price for online stores ranges depending on the brand, for example Boohoo the loved high street brand will be cheaper VS Net- a- porter a famous luxury brand where prices will be a lot higher. Visual displays such as eye catching photos of products, intriguing catwalk videos, celebrity endorsement campaigns and digital features such as zooming and 360 views of the items.

Specialists Stores

A specialist store is usually a small retail outlet that focuses on selling a specific product, the prices of these stores will be at a premium price as well as offering a higher service quality. A specialist store is likely to be found on a high street or shopping mall.
