Michael Kors is an American luxury fashion company, which was established in 1981. The brand itself is incredibly known for watches, handbags and other accessories. The brand has over 550 stores, and over 1500 in-store boutiques in many different countries. It has a few competitors, such as Coach, Kate Spade and Louis Vuitton therefore they need to communicate with their customers fairly strongly.

One of the great ways Micheal Kors has communicated with customers is through video advert campaigns, and using celebrities. Recently, MK launched a ‘Access Smartwatch’ that is similar to an Apple iWatch which is already huge competition. Therefore, MK has advertised this smartwatch in a video by using two famous celebrities; Zendaya and Martha Hunt.

By having these two celebrities featuring in the advert, the public will be drawn into watching it due to these two young celebrities. This is a very seccessful marketing concept, as the advert itself gained 1,024,679 views. The outcome was incredible. Micheal Kors defintely wins over Topshop, as the brand is more developed and has more customers.
