It is fact that 3.5 million citizens that live in Bangladesh work in the garment factories to produce goods for other countries. Most of the garment workers earn little more than 3,000 taka a month, (about £25). This is far less than the minimum wage and is meant to provide a family with shelter, food and education for the whole month. An example of a factory in Bangladesh, which is known for destroying thousands of lives, is one called the ‘Rana Plaza’.
