ZAYN MALIK DESIGNS A COLLECTION FOR VERSACE
Zayn, who sat front row at Versace's Spring/Summer 2017 show at LFW, will be designing a capsule collectiong for the brand including both menswear and women's wear. He will be working closely with Donatella Versace, who is the brand's cheif designer. He was quoted saying "I think versus has always been a very cool brand. It's a great brand for me and for people in my generation. I've always wanted to design clothes, and there's no brand I'd rather do it for than Versus."
The ZAYN X VERSUS collection will be presented next Spring before dropping in stores and online in May 2017.

banana republic to close stores in the uk
Banana Republic had eight stores in the UK, all of which they are planning to close after over a year of disappointing sales. According to Business of Fashion, most of these stores shall be closed by the end of the 2016 fiscal year. Media reports suggest that the retailer will also be converting some of its full-line stores in New York into outlets.
A spokesperson for the brand has said “these measures are part of a broader strategy outlined in May to improve the company’s performance long-term”
Banana Republic will continue to operate in France and Italy, with one store in each country, as well as stocking the UK via its online website.
