As a requirement of Technology in Education course, I had to complete a UNESCO ICT
Certificate by reading the role and
challenges of ICT worldwide and
then completing a quiz that covers
ICT related issues. The ICT
provides prospective teachers with
the knowledge of the effective use
of technology in education with
the purpose of promoting proper
utilization of new trends in technological devices and encourage effective communication
between teachers, students, educational authorities and the community. Educators as a result
would be able to use technologies to access and exchange information and would be to apply
computer productivity tools to professional use.
