Board Meetings Provide Operational Updates

Monthly meetings of the State Board of Pardons and Paroles are an important method for the Board Members to receive operational information regarding the agency.

Executive Director Chris Barnett states, "These meetings afford the opportunity to ensure the Board that as an agency we are working each and every day for public safety. In all aspects, we are providing the members with all available offender information in order for the best parole decisions to be made. If violations occur, staff ensure the members know they're being addressed immediately and our registered crime victims not only receive intended services but they're voices are heard through the information conveyed to the five-member board."
