The State Board of Pardons and Paroles has announced several leadership promotions.
Executive Director of Parole Chris Barnett says the promotions will enhance agency operations.
"We have an excellent team in place to ensure agency operations continue to provide the Board with the support it needs to continue making informed decisions," said Barnett.
Felecia Holloway has been named Deputy Executive Director for the agency. She follows Rita Rocker who retired.
"Felecia Holloway is an excellent
choice to fill this important role with our agency,” stated Parole Board Chairman David Herring.
“Felecia has distinguished herself through her many leadership roles including successfully leading our Field Services Division for many years,” added Herring.
Holloway will assist Executive Director Chris Barnett in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the agency.
“Felecia brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and insight to this role. She is a dedicated leader with a people-first philosophy,” stated Barnett.
“In this role, Felecia will be instrumental in advancing our mission. She will provide strategic oversight and operational management to support the Board’s ongoing success,” he added.
Holloway says she is ready to assist the Board and agency in advancing its public safety mission.
“I love this agency and what we do for the citizens of Georgia and the opportunities provided for positive change. The people working alongside each other here are committed individuals and I am proud to continue leading in this new capacity,” said Holloway.
Kim Patton-Johnson is now the Director of the Field Services Division.
Patton-Johnson previously served as a Deputy Director in the Clemency Division.
She began with the agency as a parole officer in 1992.
Executive Director Chris Barnett says Patton-Johnson’s career achievements are impressive.
“Kim Patton-Johnson has served in many capacities for the parole board giving her the experience necessary to lead the Field Services Division. Every stop of her career results in a better office or unit and a more effective State Board of Pardons and Paroles overall,” stated Barnett.
Chris Kimner has been named as the agency's Director of Investigations.
