Geopolitics & Daily News Magazine Will there be a war/conflict between SCO and NATO? Both sides (members and alliances) have better interests on preserving today's status quo than trying to push things into an armed conflict. All means will be used to avoid this, unless there will be no other way left. In such a case of an armed conflict between NATO and SCO, a logical assumption is that no one will be a true winner. There will be only one left, who will have lost fewer than the other opponent but also gained a lot less comparing to today's status quo. So in conclusion it seems that no conflict might take place even if that means that prevailing and challenging powers have to learn to co-exist and cooperate.
