Introduction
events Humans turned away from nomadic life at different dates and different locations. Life
near the water lines which brought with it farming activities required solving of an
imminent housing issue. Humans used many different materials such as stone, wood or
adobe to construct shelters. These shelters took upon such shapes as cubes or further
circular constructs.
Learning process
Each student will be asked to choose a civilization after attending a conference about
the subject matter. Afterwards they will be asked about what manner of shelter they
would construct, how they would manage their life, what job they would choose and
what effects the surrounding enviroment would have on said job selection. They will be
asked to organize the answers of the aforementioned questions, and to visualize their
respective shelters, including proportions. The effects of geography on human life will
be argued.
In the remaining time frame the students will be asked to construct these shelters and
points will be given.
