“CATCH THE FUTURE ”ACTIVITY PLAN that the diagonals of the square intersect vertically. The diagonals of the square were divided into two identical angles and served as bisector. Thus we got isosceles right triangles. * When folding the paper we achieved right angles and acute angles. * The number of triangles around the spinning top and the sharpness of these triangles affected the spinning speed. * The fact that the triangles around the spinning top are sharp, reduces the frictional resistance between the spinning top and the air, so that the spinning top rotates faster. After each group finishes their presentations, they race their spinning tops. . https://youtu.be/M6hR-8gXOMw Improvement Process Students discuss what should be done to accelerate the slowest spinning top and the speed of the spinning tops is checked again by making corrections. In our social networking network with Edmodo, students share their designs. 1) What did you learn in today's event? 2) What are the sections you enjoyed the most in today's event? Evaluation 3) What are the challenges you have in today's event? 4) What would you do differently if you were to do this or something like that again? References: T.C.
