“CATCH THE FUTURE ”ACTIVITY PLAN
Introduction Events The Hacivat and Karagöz visuals are opened from the smart board. Are students
asked if they recognize these characters? According to the answers, students are
asked to compare the personal characteristics of Hacivat and Karagöz characters.
They are asked to tell the rules of manners and courtesy they know.
Learning process A sample text about Karagöz and Hacivat is revived and read by the students.
Based on the text, the personality characteristics of Karagöz and Hacivat
characters are asked. They are asked to compare the personality characteristics of
the characters in the text read with their prediction. The students are asked
questions about the text that enables them to find the subject and main idea of the
text and they are asked to answer these questions.Students are asked to list and list
the courtesy and manners they encounter in daily life. A corresponding pool is
created. Students who are divided into groups of two are then asked to write some
theater texts by selecting some of these rules. Students determine the subject and
main idea of the text they will write. After the texts are created, they are asked to
prepare a “Karagöz Hacivat” presentation by transferring these texts to the
computer environment with Scratch Block Based Coding Tool.
Student's Reflective Students share their “Karagöz Hacivat” presentations on the smart board with
their friends. After each presentation, evaluations are made. (Main idea, subject,
Values education etc.)

ProcessEvaluation
After the students' presentations, the most popular presentation will be determined
by the Peer Review questionnaire which will be prepared from Google form and
will be published on the school website.
