Information Technology, Technology and Design Tools Talking Avatar application, peer and self-evaluation forms (materials such as cardboard, cloth, felt etc. can also be used) Introduction Events The teacher informs the students about the application to develop their creative thinking and creative writing skills and to makes hem comprehend the characteristics of the story genre. They are asked to find and read a few stories before the course. Then the features of the story type are briefly explained. In the first lesson of the process, the teacher determines the characters of the story they will write with “brainstorming technique” together with the class. The teacher then uses the “Talking Avatar application” on the smart board to make the students speak these characters they chose. The identified characters are made to speak with the Talking Avatar application and introduce themselves briefly. The teacher finally gives a common idea and divides the class into 4 groups. Each group uses these avatars in the story they will write. Students are given enough time to write the story. Learning process Student's Reflection Activities Improvement In the second stage of the lesson, each group will read their stories through the mouth of an avatar. (They can use creative activities such as cardboard works, puppetry etc.) .All groups are allowed to read their stories.
