“CATCH THE FUTURE ”ACTIVITY PLAN
https://www.emaze.com/ tool. The characteristics of Anatolian and Mesopotamian
civilizations, and the historical structures, objects and places remaining from the
civilizations are introduced to the students by virtual tour.
Students are divided into groups and asked to form taboo cards using information
from civilizations. Then the taboo cards prepared are examined and errors are
corrected.

Activities Prepared taboo cards are presented in sequence by each group. The questions
prepared are asked to the other groups and points are given to the knowing groups.
This cycle continues until each group presents taboo cards. The first team is brought
to the board and motivated by congratulating the other teams.
Improvement
Process The information and the logic of editing in taboo cards are reviewed. Incorrect and
very easy cards are corrected. It is then stored for re-play and use in exhibitions.
Evaluation The online exam created through https://kahoot.com/ is applied in the informatics
class in order to determine in a playful way how much the students gain.
