Planet Fitness Growth Partners Participates in Annual Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce Business Showcase
On Sept. 14, Planet Fitness Growth Partners( PFGP), owned by Victor and Lynne Brick, along with over 60 other local businesses, attracted roughly 500 attendees to the Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce Business Showcase.
The Chamber has hosted the business showcase annually since 2003, allowing local businesses to showcase themselves to the public, and this year, Planet Fitness ® participated for the first time by setting up a booth. Event organizers note that this year’ s business showcase featured a different layout and time frame, which resulted in an increased participation of about 100 attendees.

collection jar for the JW Brick Mental Health Foundation.“ Answering the questions of interested spectators while communicating Planet Fitness’ fun, family-oriented values was key to interacting with the community,” said Cavolo.“ We handed out countless day passes to attendees while 20 week-long passes were raffled off at random. A grand prize for our raffle was redeemed for a six-month Black Card membership at our Morristown, Tennessee, location.”
The business showcase was a success, and the club notes it saw an increase in memberships and tours the following week, as well as many people redeeming day passes.
“ The value drawn from this event comes from establishing a more solid presence in our community. Networking with other trusted businesses while interacting with members of our town brought tremendous value to our gym’ s public reputation,” said Cavolo.“ Further, the day passes and raffle prizes enticed many locals to try out our facility that were otherwise unaware this could be a good fit for their lifestyle.” G
