n Oct. 13, three employees from a Gainesville, Florida, PF®
were honored to attend the wedding of fellow team member
Jess Smith Davis and her husband, Alvin.
The wedding ceremony was held outdoors beneath a tree
canopy at Lake David Park in Groveland, Florida. The couple was
surrounded by friends and family, and coworkers in attendance
included Colleen Lance, Meghan Hughes and Deanna Schiebel.
“It was awesome having so much of my PF family at the
wedding,” said Davis. “Having their support on my big day really
meant a lot.”
Jess first began working for Planet Fitness® in 2014, and
since becoming a weekday opener in 2017, Jess has been a key
component of JDA Enterprises Inc. Dan Anson, owner and chief
operating officer for JDA Enterprises Inc., describes Jess as reliable,
caring and light-hearted.
The couple tied the knot with a football-themed ceremony,
which was officiated by a standup comedian and friend of Jess.
During the wedding reception, the bride pulled out an inflatable
T-Rex costume and danced to “Walk the Dinosaur.”
“Jess and Alvin are a playful couple, always trying to make
each other laugh,” said Anson. “Planet Fitness Gainesville, Florida,
congratulates and offers our best wishes to Jess and Alvin.” G
