PF Omaha Celebrates Fifth Omaha-Area Club Opening
T
communicated with the mayor of the City
of La Vista, who will be in attendance, as
well as various council members. Press
releases have been issued to each of the
local newspapers, which have always
provided wonderful support in creating
publicity for past openings for the
company. In addition, the entire management team from all PF Omaha locations, and many staff members will be in
attendance.
Before the presale, they received
several inquiries from the local community and businesses about
plans for the new location. Due
to this tremendous interest,
the manager of the new club,
Nicole Livingston, took a
proactive approach by visiting
many neighboring businesses
to provide materials for their
customers and staff.
The construction of the
new club will take 15 weeks
to complete. The location will
contain many of the latest innovations
Planet Fitness has to offer. This includes
the Black Card Spa, an area that will
be highlighted by the Black Card Desk,
which is an area exclusively designated
for the check-in and management of
the spa.“Our past experience tells us
that the BC zone requires special attention, particularly during busy times, and
this design will accommodate that,” said
Megan Morris, PF Omaha’s director of
marketing.
The Black Card Spa will contain six
tanning beds, three each in a stand up
and lay down configuration. In addition,
the HydroMassage bed is one of their
most popular amenities and the club will
feature three. The spa will be rounded out
with two massage chairs. The spacious
club floor will provide entertainment for
members from 19 separate 70” LED televisions to enhance member’s viewing ability
from all areas of the club.

he opening of a fifth Omaha-area
club owned by PF Omaha #1, LLC is
set to complete by mid June. This was one
of PF Omaha’s largest projects to date, as
they completely redid the building’s façade
to add a new entrance space that allows
for more windows. The new location is set
in the La Vista area and is approximately
24,000 square feet.
La Vista was of great interest due
to the redevelopment of the 84th Street
Corridor. Vision 84, as it is referred to,
is a well-designed plan to create a true
downtown in the city of La Vista. The idea
behind the plan is to create a distinct identity of this corridor with a variety of land
uses, a sense of community and a high
quality of life for all residents. Fortunately,
PF Omaha was able to work with local
real estate and government officials to
become a part of that plan and are excited
for the“perfect next step”in the company’s
continued growth in Omaha.
“We could not be more pleased to
announce our expansion into La Vista.
For us to be a part of this tremendous
vision and revitalization of the 84th Street
Corridor is very exciting. Our philosophy
of the Judgement Free Zone®, and all that
Planet Fitness has to offer is a perfect
fit for the area, and we cannot wait to
begin serving our members,”said Michael
Alberts, chief operating officer of PF
Omaha LLC.
PF Omaha has been doing a
great deal of community outreach to
promote the new opening. They have
