In addition, the entire management team from all PF Omaha locations, and many staff members will be in attendance. Before the presale, they received several inquiries from the local community and businesses about plans for the new location. Due to this tremendous interest, the manager of the new club, Nicole Livingston, took a proactive approach by visiting many neighboring businesses to provide materials for their customers and staff. The construction of the new club will take 15 weeks to complete. The location will contain many of the latest innovations Planet Fitness has to offer. This includes the Black Card Spa, an area that will be highlighted by the Black Card Desk, which is an area exclusively designated for the check-in and management of the spa.“Our past experience tells us that the BC zone requires special attention, particularly during busy times, and this design will accommodate that,” said Megan Morris, PF Omaha’s director of marketing. The Black Card Spa will contain six tanning beds, three each in a stand up and lay down configuration. In addition, the HydroMassage bed is one of their most popular amenities and the club will feature three. The spa will be rounded out with two massage chairs. The spacious club floor will provide entertainment for members from 19 separate 70” LED televisions to enhance member’s viewing ability from all areas of the club. This was one of PF Omaha’s largest projects to date, as they completely redid the building’s façade to add a new entrance space that allows for more windows. The new location is set in the La Vista area and is approximately 24,000 square feet. La Vista was of great interest due to the redevelopment of the 84th Street Corridor. Vision 84, as it is referred to, is a well-designed plan to create a true downtown in the city of La Vista. The idea behind the plan is to create a distinct identity of this corridor with a variety of land uses, a sense of community and a high quality of life for all residents.
