Automated Membership Freeze Historically , it has been time consuming to freeze a member account . The process is quite manual and involved , but most of the time , personnel only have to deal with an occasional freeze .
The influx of freeze requests due to COVID-19 has prompted automating the membership freeze process . Our new automated freeze form automatically populates the document during the freezing process . This allows the member to sign the form directly at the club and eliminates several steps from the process .
Tanning Release in the Works We ’ ve created a number of useful tools for Planet Fitness ’ s interface since the spring . One concept that ’ s currently in development is the tanning release . It ’ s designed to alert members if they don ’ t currently have a tanning waiver on file . The system then prompts the front desk staff to have the member sign a waiver before proceeding with their next tanning session . It will also alert staff when a waiver is about to expire .
This is an ask by the franchise working groups that is currently in development , geography pending . It will be a beneficial feature across the board .
NextGen Update NextGen is currently on track , with other ABC clients in the pilot phase . Through the pilot program , we have seen multiple
successful billing cycles . Additionally , we ’ re on track to deliver nine more projects before the end of 2020 , in addition to other process and systems improvements .
