Baseline Fitness Assistant Manager Saves Member ’ s Life
Josh Ramirez , assistant manager at the Planet Fitness location in Bloomington , Minnesota , has been a Baseline Fitness employee since 2017 .
With proper training in mind , a team member from Baseline
Fitness ’ Planet Fitness ® club in Bloomington , Minnesota , was able to step in recently to assist a guest experiencing a medical emergency .
Assistant Manager Josh Ramirez , who has worked for Baseline since 2017 , was cleaning the men ’ s restroom when he heard a noise . Following the sound , Ramirez found club member Hamid Vahabi face down inside a bathroom stall . Vahabi was not breathing and did not have a pulse . Because all Baseline Fitness trainers , managers and assistant managers receive CPR training , Ramirez was prepared to step in to help by calling 911 and administering assistance to Vahabi .
After Ramirez performed CPR , Vahabi regained a pulse and began breathing on his own . However , after paramedics arrived , his pulse was once again lost , requiring further CPR and use of the club ’ s automated external defibrillator ( AED ).
After spending a month in the hospital , Vahabi fully recovered . Recently , he set up a time to thank Ramirez in person for saving his life . Had it not been for Ramirez and his response , Vahabi probably would not be alive to speak about it today .
“ I ’ ve seen a lot of things during my time at PF ®. Over time , we build bonds with our members . They are like family to us ,” said Ramirez , who added he was thankful to be at the right place at the right time . G

PLNTF Holdings LLC Promotes Michele Dodd to Chief Development Officer and In-House Counsel
In July , PLNTF Holdings LLC promoted Michele Dodd to chief development officer and in-house counsel . Dodd joined the company in February 2019 as senior vice president of real estate and in-house legal counsel .
In her new position in the C-suite , Dodd will be responsible for providing real estate strategy and legal oversight to the fast-growing company . Prior to joining Planet Fitness ®, Dodd held executive roles with Roti Modern Mediterranean , ULTA Beauty , Aspen Dental and CVS / Caremark . She has spent over 25 years in the real estate industry and currently serves on the PFIFC ’ s Store Development Committee .
