W hen Joe Walsh and Ringo Starr decided to take VetsAid , an annual live concert fundraiser to the virtual stage , San Diego ’ s own Encore Event
Encore presenting OLP Women ’ s Symposium
Entertainment was called to help produce the live stream event . This included interviews , inspirational messages from our veterans and musical performances from some of the greatest artist in the entertainment industry including Don Henley , Bon Jovi , Jimmy Buffet , James Taylor , Gwen Stefani , Blake Shelton , Willie Nelson , The Lumineers , James Hetfield of Metallica , ZZ Top , Sheryl Crow , Brad Paisley , Babyface , Eddie Veder , Verdine White of Earth , Wind & Fire , Drew Carey and many more artists .
The concert aired on December 12 , 2020 and boasted nearly 50 performances and appearances and raised nearly 1.5 million dollars to support veterans and their families . This year ’ s event featured a worldwide broadcast of unique performances , never-before-seen VetsAid footage from years past and great stories from some of the greatest musicians in the world .
