La 43ème édition du Festival International de la BD d’Angoulême se
place sous le signe de la liberté d’expression et du « vivre ensemble ».
En plus des rencontres avec plusieurs bédéistes renommés tel que
Katsuhiro Otomo, Grand Prix du 42ème Festival, des spectacles, de
nombreuses expositions seront présentées au public. Parmi celles-ci,
une rétrospective consacrée à l’œuvre de Maurice de Bevere, créateur
de Lucky Luke, à l’occasion des 70 ans de son illustre personnage.
Deux prix seront décernés pendant le Festival, le Grand Prix mais
aussi le Prix Charlie Hebdo de la Liberté d’expression visant à valoriser les dessinateurs qui « oeuvrent à défendre leurs idées et leurs
créations, quel que soit le contexte dans lequel ils se trouvent ». I

This 43th edition of the International Comics Festival in Angoulême is placed under the sign of freedom of speech and living together.
On top of the opportunity to meet several renowned cartoonists such as Katsuhiro Otomo, Grand Prix of the 42th Festival, this edition
presents shows and many exhibitions. Among these, a retrospective dedicated to the work of Maurice de Bevere, creator of Lucky
Luke, on the occasion of the character’s 70th anniversary. Two prizes will be awarded during the Festival : the Grand Prix but also
the Charlie Hebdo Prize for Freedom of speech, an initiative aimed at valorizing cartoonists who “defend their ideas and creations,
