The purpose of
the Festival is to
provide greater
opportunities for
participants to
continue their
technical and artistic
development, as
well as to diversify
the artistic and
cultural range of
the city of Cancun.
All the functions
were open to the
general public,
which was able to
enjoy the classic
and neoclassical
expressions of the
dance.
During the closing ceremony, more
than 50 scholarships were awarded to
different schools and courses in Mexico,
the United States and Brazil. Over 5
boys benefited from these scholarships,
and one of the young participants was
invited to join the Phoenix Ballet in order
to start his career as a professional
dancer. From Mexico, most of the
scholarships were awarded to students
from the Ballet Clasico Cancún and
Ballet de Monterrey dance schools.

La finalidad del
Festival es brindar
mayores oportunidades
a los participantes
para continuar con
su desarrollo técnico
y artístico, así como
diversificar el abanico
artístico y cultural de
la ciudad de Cancún.
Todas las funciones
estuvieron abiertas al
público en general, que
pudo disfrutar de las
expresiones clásicas y
neoclásicas de la danza.
Durante la clausura se entregaron más
de 50 becas para diferentes escuelas
y cursos en México, Estados Unidos
y Brasil. Más de 5 chicos fueron
beneficiados con estas becas, y uno de
los jóvenes participante fue invitado
a formar parte del Phoenix Ballet,
para iniciar su carrera como bailarín
profesional. De México, la mayoría de
las becas las obtuvieron alumnos de la
escuela de danza Ballet Clásico Cancún
y Ballet de Monterrey.
