opened his eponymous restaurant

2009 and a year later won an award for
Best New Opening. Hix is known for
his seasonal British cooking – and for
celebrating fine produce from across the
country. Yotam Ottolenghi, on the
other hand, has found fame in the past
few years for recipes that exploit the
styles and flavours of Lebanon, Syria,
