the subtle communication between people
or even animals, these individual elements
become a complex life form as they flow
together to create harmony. Seiring berkembangnya proyek ini, saya
menemukan bahwa foto-foto saya menyorot
sebentuk perilaku dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Serengeti National Park marked a turning point for me
in my approach to the Day to Night™ series. I saw a level of
communication in wildlife that I don’t think people understand –
or frankly, I myself didn’t even believe existed. I photographed
from inside a crocodile blind for 26 hours witnessing these
competitive species sharing a single resource, water.
Taman Nasional Serengeti menjadi titik balik bagi saya selama
mengerjakan seri Day to Night™. Saya melihat semacam komunikasi
antara satwa liar yang menurut saya tidak dipahami manusia—
dan terus terang, saya sendiri tidak menyangka. Saya memotret
dari tempat tersembunyi selama 26 jam dan menyaksikan satwa-
satwa ini berbagi air.
