Wednesday, January 22, 2020
was an important day for us,
with the Extraordinary General
Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS)
entrusting us to join and lead the
Garuda Indonesia family.
Our appointment as the new
management of Garuda Indonesia
– the airline which is the pride of
the nation – goes hand-in-hand
with new expectations to give the
best we can to our customers.
We would also like to take this
opportunity to announce that, as
a form of international recognition
for our efforts to maintain our service
of punctuality, Garuda Indonesia was
recently chosen as The Most Punctual
Airline in the World in the Punctuality
League 2020 by OAG Flightview, an
independent On Time Performance
(OTP) rating agency from the UK.
According to data released by OAG,
Garuda Indonesia achieved the highest
punctuality score: 95.01 per cent from
57.5 million worldwide flight records
throughout 2019, and was also named

the airline with the best punctuality
record in Asia Pacific.
This achievement would of course
not have been possible without
the support of you, our loyal
Garuda Indonesia customers.
In the future, we will keep striving
to improve our service for all our
customers by continuing to
prioritise all safety.
In addition, together with the
entire Garuda Indonesia family,
we will solidify our internal relations
to boost pride in the company, with
the aim of fostering an increasingly
positive image.
We are aware that Garuda Indonesia,
as the national flag carrier, has the
responsibility not only of developing
the company itself but also promoting
the growth of the country’s regional
economy through the tourism sector.
