London Eye
One of the best views of
London can be seen while
riding the London Eye –
a giant observation wheel on
the South Bank of the River
Thames. In the photo you can
see London’s beautiful Palace
of Westminster, also known
as the Houses of Parliament.
The London Eye offers views
as far as the eye can see in
every direction – a highly
recommended vantage point
for any photographer.

Big Fish Pond
The weather was cold, cloudy
and a little overcast. Ironically,
when shooting with a mobile
device I prefer these conditions.
The low light helps bring more
saturated colours into the image.
Big Fish Pond Lake is located
outside the small city of Jenkins,
Kentucky, USA. I was able to
achieve this look once I enabled
HDR mode. HDR mode allowed
me to capture the reflections of
the clouds in the still lake water.

This photograph is a great
example of what the iPhone 5
can do in a low-light environment.
The photo was taken at a depth
of around 15m+ underwater.
I housed my iPhone inside a
Seashell Waterproof Case. The
case is graded for 30m. I later
enhanced the photograph with
the Snapseed photo app created
by Google. I’ve taken my iPhone
on several dives since then and
plan to do more underwater
shots in the future.
