A Walk to Remember
One of the activity I remember the most was the Community Walk. The community walk was done at Barangay Tumana, Marikina, Metro Manila. This activity aims to make the students aware of the things happening in a marginal communities in Marikina. This activity also gives the students knowledge on how to interact with those who live in the area
We chose barangay Tumana because it is one of the marginal community in Marikina. This specific baranggay is always in news reports and is always monitored during the rainy season, because of the high possibility of flood. Floods are very possible in this area because of their location which is very near the Marikina river. There are more or less 40,000 residents staying in Barangay Tumana of Marikina City.
