became a champion at an early
age. This year, Carels and his
Pembina Valley Hawks defeated
Eastman to win Hockey
Manitoba’s Rural Triple A title –
one of 25 teams outside the
Perimeter Hwy. to claim
Hockey Manitoba banners.
