“It’s always a challenge to not only
nominate players, but also to have the
teams vote on the selections,” said KJHL
spokesman Grant Heather. “It was decided
that in order to select an All-Star team,
each KJHL team would nominate a player
from their own team who they felt had
exhibited the qualities of an All-Star. All
selections were completed by the end of
December 2017, so it’s based on the first
half of the season.”
For the third straight year, the KJHL will
not hold an all-star game. The 12 players on
the All-star team will be personally honored
with awards and gifts.
