A Season Out of the Ordinary

The 2016-17 season has been anything but ordinary for Manitoba Junior Hockey League fourth-year forward, Adam Wowryk. Coming off a 2015-16 championship-winning season with the nearly unstoppable Portage Terriers, Wowryk felt right at home in Portage. Named as team captain for the start of the 2016-17 regular season, he was under the impression that he would finish his career with the powerhouse Terriers. Fast forward a little over a month-and-a-half, and Wowryk is now serving as a critical member of the Winnipeg Blues. It’ s been a crazy season.
