This course has been designed to help heroes ( students ) improve their different English skills to defeat Failord . We will be focusing primarily in the practical usage of reading and writing , and secondarily on speaking and listening , applying new vocabulary and grammar structures to the skills . Thematically , the skills will be enhanced through analysis , discussion , critique and elaboration in individual and collaborative papers using different fantasy and science-fiction narratives .
This class is gamified but it is not a game . In only looks like one .
Specific Objectives :
Encourage in heroes an active , constant participation requesting from them punctual and well-founded opinions . Cultivate linguistic and generic competences through planned activities for their application in controlled simulated scenarios . Promote the heroes ' improvement and growth through constant evaluation , peer-assessment and self-assessment of the tasks that provide feedback to their performance .
